Artist Biography
Juyeon Kim is a Melbourne-based artist specialising in handcrafted ceramics and sculptures. Originally from a small town in South Korea, Kim studied fine arts at Chung-Ang University before moving to Australia. She combines traditional and modern Korean techniques to create her unique and highly individual works. Her art is inspired by her passion for nature, resulting in a beautiful and organic range of sculptures and ceramic pieces. Kim has exhibited extensively and has been a finalist in several awards, including the Emerging Artist Award at fortyfivedownstairs.
Shipping is not included in the online artwork purchase price.
Artworks in the stockroom can be collected from the gallery at 45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000 within one business day of purchase. Collection is available during gallery hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12–7pm, and Saturday, 12–4pm.
