Biography

Terry Swann is one of Australia’s foremost contemporary watercolourists. She has been a professional painter most of her life and travels extensively to outback Australia- painting on location. Pristine and remote areas are her passion. She uses her emotional response to capture the essence of the land- in colour texture and movement. She has had over 28 solo exhibitions and her work is held in public and private collections both here and abroad. Her paintings can be found in the Federal Government offices in Brisbane, The State Library of Brisbane and Regional Galleries.

Artworks in the stockroom can be collected from the gallery at 45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000 within one business day of purchase. Collection is available during gallery hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12–7pm, and Saturday, 12–4pm.
