Artist Biography
Laura Williams is an artist from the south-west of Western Australia, now based in Melbourne. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Western Australia in 2007 and then went on to complete a Master of Arts and Cultural Management degree at the University of Melbourne.
Laura’s work has been exhibited throughout Australia including Hatched 07: National Graduate Show, The Elaine Bermingham National Landscape Prize for Watercolour, the Heysen Prize for Landscape and the National Works on Paper finalist exhibition. She was an artist in residence at Studio Kura in Itoshima, Japan in 2017.
