Derived from a photograph taken on Naoshima, Japan, this photogravure print isolates a fragment of weathered corrugated metal. The work explores the transformation of an everyday industrial surface through printmaking, where texture, tone and repetition shift the image towards abstraction. The accumulated marks of age and exposure become a record of time, place and material history.

Shipping is not included in the online artwork purchase price.

Artworks currently on exhibition can be collected from the gallery at 45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000 once the exhibition has concluded. Collection is available during gallery hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12–7pm, and Saturday, 12–4pm.
