An axe is considered both weapon and instrument in Wood Song. It pushes a system to its limits. Noise is compressed, amplified, and saturated as it moves through this process. Scale, tempo, and sequence breakdown, and yes, structure is lost. But distortion is a positive thing.

Artworks currently on exhibition can be collected from the gallery at 45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000 once the exhibition has concluded. Collection is available during gallery hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12–7pm, and Saturday, 12–4pm.
